Tejas Storytelling Association Non-Discrimination and Justice Statement

The Tejas Storytelling Association is organized and operating with the purpose of seeking out and encouraging audiences and storytellers from diverse backgrounds including but not limited to age, race, ethnicity or nationality, color, religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation or gender identification, health or physical disabilities, and experience.

We firmly commit our organization to equality, fairness, safety, and justice for all. Whenever and wherever we gather we commit to providing a safe and inclusive environment.

We oppose acts of harassment, hate, or violence against groups or persons based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or economic status. We oppose injustice and oppression in whatever forms they might take.

We commit our organization to operate in a way that represents the best practices of environmental stewardship.
