Storyteller, poet, historical re-enactor, visual artist, and musician
 
Ron is a Native Philadelphian from Pennsylvania currently residing in Killeen, Texas. He is a published author of “Voices” a collection of poetry and short stories. Also published in five literary and poetry anthologies. In the year 2000 Ron shared the stage in a PBS documentary on poetry with New Jersey’s former poet laureate Robert Pinsky and Philadelphia’s former poet laureate Sonia Sanchez. Ron with the use of African and African Cuban drums and other musical instruments through storytelling and poetry expresses his sociopolitical and historical experiences about his life and the lives of others in Philadelphia and abroad. His stories are told in the African and African American folklore tradition. He also facilitates African drum workshops. He is also available for storytelling and poetry presentations for friendly, family, and adult atmospheres.
