Everyone loves a good story. Kim Lehman has been telling tales and singing songs for many years, first as a way to entertain younger cousins and now as a professional storyteller, musician, puppeteer, science educator and workshop presenter. Past performances and workshops include the Texas Storytelling Festival as a featured teller, Texas Library Association, Sibley Nature Center along with countless schools and libraries. Partial funding for programs and workshops are available through the Texas Commission on the Arts.

Programs for Children
After years of working with young children as a teacher and youth specialist, Kim presents engaging, age appropriate programs for toddlers through elementary ages. Programs combine stories, songs, sign language, props, poetry, puppets and participation on a variety of topics including world cultures, pioneer life, fairy tales, plants, reading, hats, holidays and many more.

Bee Programs
Known as the Bee Lady, Kim presents educational programs full of participation and hands-on science learning with microscopes, pollination games, honey tasting and much more. Kim has presented programs in 18 states for the American Beekeeping Federation. Now Kim is the author of Beekeeper’s Lab, an activity book for families, writes a column for a beekeeping magazine, and founded an international kids club called Bee Buddies.

Workshops
Kim is in demand throughout Texas as an effective workshop presenter known for her practical, inexpensive program ideas for librarians, teachers and parents. Throughout the years Kim has presented over 120 workshops on topics such as storytelling music, science, and puppets.
