Stories are made to be shared and Jaye R. McLaughlin loves to share the myriad stories she has gathered. The history of Texas, of our nation, of Native Americans along with folklore of animals and people are just some she can pull out of her bag of stories. She brings a Native flute to play and other objects that can delight the younger listener. Jaye retired in 2005 after 22 years as a children’s librarian at the Ft. Worth Public LIbrary. She has sojourned in Nebraska, Kentucky, and now Texas. Jaye has four grandchildren and serveral grand dogs and cats.
