Multicultural Storytelling is a powerful tool that can be used to to build bridges, heal wounds, grow communities, and all the while promote empathy and understanding. Storytelling is also a powerful conduit for preserving heritage and culture, passing on a piece of history and inherited lessons from ancestors. The use of stories to explore and celebrate diverse cultural groups enhances the educational experience promoting a society that values and understands its collective heritage, while safeguarding the customs and teachings of different cultures. This starts in an inclusive environment that connects students of diverse backgrounds and creates space where every one feels safe, seen, and heard.

Attendees are asked to bring a recommended reading list, a personal story, and the spirit of adventure.

Library requests no food or drink in meeting room, but class includes a break half way through.
