Kindred Spirits
The performance will consist of one song, ‘Kindred Spirits’, telling the story of the amazing act of humanity displayed by the Choctaw native American people when they donated $176 to the Irish Famine Relief Fund in 1847, and two stories, “The Madman’s Window”, a traditionally themed Selkie story and “The Golden Hare”, another traditionally-themed story about a Wise Woman who has the power to shapeshift.

Colin Urwin is an Irish singer-songwriter and storyteller, performing gigs and festivals throughout the UK and Ireland. In March 2021, he released his first album of songs, ‘A Kind of Love Song’. Colin also has two story albums – The Madman’s Window and The Swan Maiden. https://www.colinurwin.com/
