Talespinner Party

The Talespinner Party and Silent Auction are major fundraisers for the Tejas Storytelling Association. The Saturday night Talespinner Party offers dinner and drinks for attendees, with vegan and vegetarian options available. Join us for this lively gathering of storytellers and story lovers. Tickets can be purchased in advance.

Silent Auction

Now is the time to start thinking about what you would like to donate for the Tejas Storytelling Festival silent auction. March is not that far away. Maybe you have a duplicate book or no more wall space for that beautiful poster. Look in your closet for a special shawl, outrageous hat or colorful skirt that someone may be able to use for programs. There are plenty of treasures out there and we know you have something to share! Help TSA raise funds while you clear away clutter. Bring your items to the Civic Center when you arrive at the Festival. Contact the TSA Office at 940-380-9320 or tsa@tejasstorytelling.com.

Story Store

Want a CD of stories to take home with you? Or a musical instrument to use in your next storytelling session?  How about a puppet for your nephew’s upcoming birthday? You will find all this and more at the Story Store. It will be located to the left as you enter the Main Stage area. TSA accepts cash, credit cards and personal checks with a current ID.

What you can find at the Festival Store:

  • Featured tellers CD’s and books
  • Other Festival storyteller’s CD’s and books
  • Puppets
  • Musical instruments

Things you need to know:

  • The story store will only be open when storytelling on the stage is not in progress as a courtesy to the tellers.
  • Friday and Saturday are tax free days! Purchase any item in the store without tax being added.
  • The story store will close Sunday at 12:30 pm after the last concert.
  • You may purchase with check, cash and card.
